Thanks to a E.ON / Nottingham City Council partnership, hundreds of families in Nottingham will soon be feeling the benefits of solar power, as Nottingham City Council continues to tackle fuel poverty through creating a Super Warm Zone. Holmen and E.ON partner to erect wind turbines in Sweden(08/02/2011)
Holmen and E.ON have signed an agreement to jointly erect wind turbines in three different areas, primarily located on Holmen’s land and all identified as suitable by Örnsköldsvik Municipality. Annual production will be an estimated 330 GWh from around 70 wind turbines. The ambition is to also sign agreements with private landowners in these areas. AECOM Design Build appointed to develop renewable energy plant in Sheffield(03/12/2009)
E.ON has appointed AECOM Design Build to develop Blackburn Meadows, a renewable energy plant in Sheffield. The proposed renewable energy plant will provide enough power for approximately 40,000 homes by burning recycled wood in the state of the art facility.
