City Council searches for a private sector to help create a Green Energy Park

Nottingham City Council has begun its search for a private sector partner that will work with alongside it to create a state of the art Green Energy Park on a 6.9 hectare site on Blenheim Lane in Bulwell. Thanks to a E.ON / Nottingham City Council partnership, hundreds of families in Nottingham will soon be feeling the benefits of solar power, as Nottingham City Council continues to tackle fuel poverty through creating a Super Warm Zone. New waste recycling scheme for residents in Victoria Centre Flats in Nottingham

Residents in Victoria Centre Flats have been supplied with orange bags for all recyclable waste such as paper, newspaper and magazines, cardboard, food and drinks cans, large tins, plastic bottles and plastic tubs, pots and trays. Every Monday and Thursday, from 7am to midnight, residents can put their orange bags down the chute and Nottingham City Council will then empty the bins and separate the recyclable waste from the orange bags.
