Wilcox Textile Reclaimers has seen an astounding 37 percent reduction in the cost of collecting materials from its bins throughout the United Kingdom, using SmartBin’s advanced bin-monitoring technology and service. A new one year pilot project in Presteigne and Norton in Wales is challenging 1,200 householders and approximately 100 businesses to move towards zero waste. The first stage of the project focuses on households and businesses, whilst the second focuses on levering manufacturers to produce products which can be easily reused or recycled by consumers.

St Peter’s School in Aylesford, Kent, educates children from age four to 11. ACTIS Insulation is working with the primary school to help it reach its goal of becoming the UK’s first carbon neutral school.
