Solverdi Worldwide Ltd has announced a substantial, long-term waste water processing contract. The name of the customer has been withheld at the customer’s request. The first year value of the contract is $1.2 million and requires Solverdi processing equipment be installed by January 31, 2010.

“Solverdi has the substantial privilege of signing a five year service contract with an environmental company in the United States. This opens great opportunities in several U.S. markets, including Nevada, and in the near future, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio,” said Richard Doub, Division President. “This contract plays to Solverdi’s strengths--processing waste water and delivering it back to the customer in raw materials and energy. We look forward to our installation work, which is scheduled to start in the current quarter in Nevada. Based on our performance, we can grow into additional locations in the United States."

Solverdi Worldwide Ltd has also announced it named the Hon. Hasan Ozbalfi Division President of its Mediterranean Operations and secured offices in Kyrenia, Cyprus.

Dennis M Danzik, Solverdi CEO, stated, “Solverdi continues to grow through contractual efforts in delivering renewable energy and sustainability worldwide. The development of our Cyprus office has taken eight months and substantial work from our key management in Australia and the United States.”

The Hon. Hasan Ozbalfi was elected to the Turkish Republic Parliament in 1981 and was named the Minister of Labor for the Turkish Republic in 1983. Mr. Ozbalfi transformed the Social Security systems and other key programs for the government. Hasan Ozbalfi holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering and was a founder of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Chemical Engineers. Mr. Ozbalfi brings with him substantial business experience having formed large textile and garment manufacturing companies in Cyprus and Turkey, with exports to the United States, United Kingdom and other European countries. In addition, Hasan founded Lara Chemical, which currently manufactures cleaning chemicals and cosmetics.

“We welcome Mr. Ozbalfi to Solverdi at an exciting time of growth for our Company. To attract and secure the efforts and counsel of an executive the caliber of Hasan is rare and a privilege. With Hasan’s combined scientific and business background, he will help to support and promote our Company’s core strengths. Mr. Ozbalfi has the ability to quickly expand Solverdi’s business presence and carries the experience to manage the growth for our shareholders,” added Danzik.

Solverdi has the distinct advantage, through utilization of its licensed technology, to produce valuable renewable byproducts - all from various wastewater materials - resulting in renewable fuels, steam, and water. The Solverdi Process leverages its renewable fuels and specially engineered equipment with the use of amplified solar energy to supply electricity to an industrial or commercial building’s uninterruptable power supply. The Solverdi-owned system is generally installed on the exterior of the building and often fits inside a 100 square foot area (9.2 square meters). All systems are designed, engineered and installed by specially trained Solverdi engineers and personnel. The Solverdi solution also meets LEED standards and meet UL standards.
