Marshalls plc has announced that from next month it will have the largest number of officially carbon labelled products anywhere in the world. Planning Board says yes to Grinnell’s new mining operation
Sparta After months of discussions, the planning board voted unanimously last week to approve Grinnell Enterprise’s application to amend Sparta’s master plan to allow a soil mining operation on farm land they own off Houses Corner Road. The land is currently zoned for residential use only.
Reed Avenue mining project proposed
A proposed mining and reclamation project five miles north of Reedley is making its way through the Fresno County planning process. A draft environmental impact report will be ready sometime next year for the project to be built on Gerawan farm land.
